The food is tasty. The portions are tiny.
I have fond memories of this restaurant. If it has not changed in the years since I've been to it, you can expect exquistly prepared food in generous portions. On occasion, they have fresh game such as venison or wild boar.
Wonderful food. I don't eat ribs; but my wife thinks their's are the best. I love the pull-pork dinner. Sides are delicious: collard greens, black=eyed peas, corn, french fries, mashed potatoes, candied yams, etc.
it is obvious that counter staff would rather be elsewhere.
Burgers taste as if they were made of marinated cardboard.
Place is infestd with noisy teenagers and the children of lower-class parents.
Staff friendly and efficent. Often live music . Food is good ; but not Irish enough.
The best is weekend brunch. I love the Irish mixed grill.
This place is always packed. Thus, you should vi
ew my review accordingly.
The food is under cooked for my taste. No msg means less flavor.
The waiters mean well; but there are too few for such a busy place. Waiters are harried and service is spotty.
The fried rice was the worst I've ever ...
The food is good, the prices low, the service friendly and efficient. This place is a winner.
Takeout is fast.
Appetizers excellent except for egg roll which is

What is good is very good. I love the meatball hero and the various chicken heroes. Alas the pastrami and corned beef are the worst I've ever experienced; the lowest quality meat.

Friendly community restaurant. Pleasant place to meet friends or bring clients.
My experience at Elvie's Turo Turo restaurant was very dissappointing. The dishes were very greasy and salty. Although they advertise as having lunch special, the amount of foods included in this special was minimal. As a result, My lunch date and I had to share a side order of Adobo (pork stew), wh...

For out of towners who are overwhelmed with the crush of Midtown Manhattan in general will find a very welcome respite at Shaan. The food and service are wonderful. The SPACE and comfort the restaraunt provides makes me feel like a sultan. I have read favorable reviews of the food from sources who k...
Homey, friendly French-style bistro without the "attitude" of Balthazar, or the snooty prices. Pleasant and attractive wait-staff. Interesting menu. well prepared and well presented. (Good French fries.)
the food was great and the ambiance is nice...however they play the same music over and over again...the staff looks uptight but it's not their fault. It's mostly because their boss is looming around them while they work. She makes ME nervous and im just the customer...I have witnessed on more than ...
I went to Typhoon with a business associate. After the appetizer and before the main course was served I was engaged in a confidential conversation with my associate and the manager walked over and leaned over our table. He lingered there for a few minutes, making us feel uncomfortable. I final a...
