Angelica's is one of my favorite restaurants in the city. Delicious, inventive veggie cuisine, friendly, hip staff and a great overall vibe. My only complaint is that the wait can sometimes be excruciating--but then again, it's the coziness of the place which is so appealing so it's a necessary hass...
HAVE BEEN GOING TO CAFE ESPANOL ON BLEECKER STREET FOR 12YRS, AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISSAPPOINTED, BEST VALUE AND THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT
Great little place for cost effective dining. If
you love soups the "everything" soup is great. You an pick up Asian roasted duck without having
to go to Chinatown. We always get carry out for
our drive home to Maryland on our trips to NYC
This is a great, inexpensive place to have something light. It's ideal to meet a friend for a last minute lunch if you're looking for some place to go. The food is great and the atmosphere sets a fun mood.
I thought I was entering a nightclub of a bygone era...The walls are studded with Andy Warhol and Peter Max artwork. Then I tasted the food, I never thought anyplace with a DANCE FLOOR could produce food of such high quality. I have been there twice since my first trip and I have been consistently i...
Daniel is a very upscale resturaunt. Prices are expendsive{main course around $35 to $50}. They do have excellant food. Not a place for kids.
OH MY GOD! Carmine's really knows how to feed you the italian way. The portions were HUGE and very reasonably priced. A salad fed five people as did a dinner entree. The Shrimp Parmigiana is highly reccommended. Make sure to leave room for dessert!*****
I had dinner in March of 1998. I refer it to everyone I know going into New York. The crab cakes are the best I have ever had. I try crab cakes all over the USA and I have never had better.
"PERKS" is a little pricey for Harlem...a chicken dinner, though delicious, rings in at approx.$15.00. However, this is "the place to be" in Harlem after work and on the weekends! Beautiful women and handsome gents crowd into a trendy bar and dancefloor nightly. Live Jazz and R&B groups appear sev...
Good place to for dessert and coffee and to sit and relax for an hour or so.
The food was really excellent. The wait staff was
very attentive and friendly. The atmosphere was charming. It was everything we expected and more.
We recommend the short ribs, margaritas, and flan!
A great place with a kitschy atmosphere, fun, friendly, waiters are extremely friendly, and it's a great place to feel unhurriedly relaxed and to enjoy a chat with friends over outstanding mexican food and drinks.
We spent many happy hours at Cactus Cafe and consider it a regular hangout!
Gerard is the best! Great food & always the best service in our neighborhood. Not so sterile as the Restaurant Row group.
excellent bar-b-que, don't miss the beans.
reasonable prices and cold beer.
okay this was beyond delish....i was visiting at the time, but i now live here and i cna; honestly say that this is where you go if you want THE BEST SALSA IN THE WORLD....oh my, if it was possible, that salsa is good enough to put in an I.V. and ingest that directly...it was THAT GOOD....oh and the...
very nice setting with efficient friendly wait staff. Food is always creative as well as delicious. An exceptional experience is to sit at the counter and watch the ballet of the open kitchen. One of my favorites!
I just went there for the first time in awhile... luckily we saved room for dessert because it was incredible... apparently they have a new pastry chef... whatever their doing -- they're doing it right. YUMMM Oh yes, our dinner was great too....
