Nothing special, try Cha Am for good Thai food in Vallejo.
Blend of Thai and Laos food. New owners as of Jan 07. Food is clean tasting. Dishes are not flooded with sauces, the spicing is mild, but tasty. Regular salad (free with lunch) was terrible, essentially white head lettuce with mayonnaise. Did not get to evaluate their Papaya salad.
New owners again.
and the cuisine is a blend of Lao and Thai.
The new owners are making an honest attempt to
provide good, genuine, quality food.
I think they're doing it quite well .
Probably one of a mere handful of restaurants in Vallejo that I would call dependable, reliable and good to ex...
the food was great - just like every other boston market. it was just a dollar too much for the area.
i am a regular here and the food is great.
Found this place when I was in the Navy at Vallejo and have loved eating the burgers ever since. I now live in AZ and visted family in the area just so I could get a burger from here. "THE" best burger I have ever had!
This place has the best burgers in the Bay Area
Cha-Am = Rude Management
My boyfriend and I went to Cha Am (in Vallejo) for dinner on June 27, 2003 and left upset and hungry. After waiting for our food for almost an hour, we decided to tell the person at the register (because our waiter was nowhere to be found) to cancel our order. The manag...
The title of this restaurant is actually Cha Am. The food is very good, prices are very reasonable. Vallejo has a shortage of restaurants, and this might be the best of what this city has to offer. Check out www.vallejobites.com for more info.
Very bland food! Despite our high hopes for the closest Chinese restaurant from our house, the food was not worth trying. The service was good and friendly. The atmosphere would have been pretty nice aside from the stupid Budwiser advertising you see all over small towns.
This restaurant has p...
I come to the China Barn at least once a week. Sometimes for pick-up and on occassion for in-house eating. I've never been disappointed with their meals although they offer the traditional chinese-american cuisine that has become standard fare at these establishments. They have a busy lunch crowd...
China Barn has been a favorite for my mom and dad, and their families for years. Now, after 4 years of living in So Cal, I moved back to Vallejo, and it's one of my favorite restaurants. My partner and I go there at least once a month, and they are always excitied to see us and know our order too!...
1st time. Very impressed. Some of the best Chinese food I've had in the Bay. They use great quality ingredients, the chef rocks, and the service was excellent. They also make their own hot chili paste and spicy mustard. Ambience was nice, but I would've preferred a little less bright light... t...

We have been going there for at least 18 years? Today we even made a special trip there for lunch. My husband is from Chicago, so he knows what a real chicago dog, gyro, ect should taste like. Buddy, the owner and his staff are always friendly and funny. They make you fee very welcome.

I was there when they opened-I taught at Mare Island Navy Base. Last year I flew thru Chicago and the Italian Beef there isn't as close to real as Buddy's. A great sandwich, a unique product-I even try to make it at home, St Marys Georgia but it doesn't come close-does he ship at all?
