Cha-Am = Rude Management
My boyfriend and I went to Cha Am (in Vallejo) for dinner on June 27, 2003 and left upset and hungry. After waiting for our food for almost an hour, we decided to tell the person at the register (because our waiter was nowhere to be found) to cancel our order. The manager heard and said that our order is coming up without even checking the kitchen. We told him that we had been waiting for almost an hour and we'd rather leave. Instead of apologizing he said, "No, no, no way, not an hour! Why don't you go to McDonald's. Our grill is busy." I could not believe a manager would say something this rude to customers and in front of his employees. My boyfriend and I are not the type of people that would make a scene out of a situation like this so all we could do was leave. I would really advise the owner(s) of Cha Am to take a good close look at his appointed manager because I think the success of a business depends upon its management. I surely will NEVER go back to Cha Am in Vallejo. I will share this experience to my family and friends.

The title of this restaurant is actually Cha Am. The food is very good, prices are very reasonable. Vallejo has a shortage of restaurants, and this might be the best of what this city has to offer. Check out www.vallejobites.com for more info.
