I've been eating at Gumbahs since they opened in the mid 1980's. This is awesome food. Buddy the owener does a great job with the resturant. Unfortunately I now live over an hour away so visits are more rare than I would like. The beef sandwich must be tried and bring an appitite!
Great place to eat for those not afraid of heart disease. Great food, friendly folks, very very heavy dishes, but very good. I enjoyed the chicken fried steak.
Everything on my plate was delicious! Each item could stand on it's own. The greens were especially good. Smokin' down home cooking. One of the best soul food restaurants I've experienced. I'm originally from Vallejo. Me and my buddy's always loved this resturant.. and I'm on the eastcoast now and i still have not found 1 general tso's chicken better than theirs... good people too...
I always enjoy my dinning experience when I go to this restaurant....Service is fast and friendly.The food is always fresh and good.
This restaurants food and service are all wonderful. They are very personable people and always make you feel welcome when you come in. The have a crab-stuffed won-ton that is excellent!!!
Wow. this place is excellent. Not only is the food marvelous but the service and price is great. I go to this restaurant at lease twice a week because it is that good.

I've eaten lunch at Lucky Garden many times and the food is always excellent! Highly recommended if you're looking for Chinese cuisine in the Vallejo area.
Formally Canton Ocean..now Lucky Garden. Much cleaner than previous owners and better service. The food was of much higher quality as was the reasonable price. Surprised this place isn't extremely packed. Definite quality Chinese cuisine!
I agree with the previous opinion!! This place is exceptionally clean for a chinese restaurant in vallejo. I went on a quiet night, it was a bit slow but I receive good service. Only because Vallejo has so little in terms of restaurants can I recomend Mikos. The food is pretty good, though it is in kind of a scary area. Once inside, however, the atmosphere is somewhat improved. Give it a try....

We don't know of many places you can order with as much selection, however though the selections look good on paper they now disapoint in reality. Since there are so few good restaurants in Vallejo, Nujos is a place I visit frequently. The last dish I had, the Chicken Picatta over rissoto (sp?) was quite good, though a bit heavy. They are located in a converted KFC drive through, so the ambience is pretty weird.

I THINK THE SALADS ARE FRESH, BUT FOR THE PRICES WHICH ARE A BIT STEEP THE PORTIONS COULD BE A BIT LARGER TO ACTUALLY BE WORTH THE COST! I love pasta and during the past month I have twice gone to Nujos and had a spaghetti meal. Both times I was satisfied. The place was clean and quiet (not that many customers). I like Olive Garden a little better, but this place happens to be closer to where I currently work.
