I was astonished that such a "hole in the wall" would hide wild hare, venison, wild boar, Kobe beef, elk, same day's Mediterranean catch of the day, 15 kinds of home made pasta, ungodly deserts, all at under $80/person. This is probably the best kept gastronomical secret in the whole country.

I have had the unique pleasure of having dined at the Copacabana in NYC while it was frequented by the Minellis, Sinatra and other high rollers, Le Bernardain a decade later, and Il Madri in L.A. the same decade, but this little Italian place is second to none. Nowhere on earth have I found such a menu (phaesant, wild boar, elk, wild rabbit, porcini mushrooms, home made pasta and sauces the likes of which can't be found at any price. I would personally give anybody a full refund if they were even 1% unhappy about any aspect of this (in my view) the finest dining establishment.

I have eaten here 3 times in 2006 with different guests. We have all enjoyed the food, and the varied menu. The wine list is small, but artfully chosen. I shall return to finish working thru the menu.
