THIS IS A VERY GOOD CHINESE BUFFET, ESPECIALLY FOR THE LOW PRICE! I AM ONLY DISAPPOINTED THAT THE BUFFET IS ONLY AVAILABLE M-F AT LUNCH. THE BEAN PASTE SESEME BALLS(A DESSERT) ARE UNUSUAL BUT VERY GOOD. I ALSO LIKE THE BBQ CHICKEN SKEWERS, THE FRIED DUMPLINGS, AND THE GREEN BEANS. THE EGG DROP S...

This place looks like a dump but the food is great American Chinese, the shrimp is really fresh, the vegetables are fresh, it's an amazing value. Nothing old and stale, the wonton soup is especially nice, full of fresh veg, not too salty, a hint of ginger.
I never liked fajitas before i came to eat here. Their fajitas are the best! The chicken was perfect and the tortillas were fresh and so was the chips. The salsa was perfect also. The fajitas came with beans, rice, great guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo. If you run out of tortillas a...
Overpriced moderately good Mexican food. Pappasitos gets credit for a reletively innovative menu - however when one considers the many wonderful Mexican restaurants in the Austin area, the quality of food, service and overall dining experience pales in comparison. Service is HORRIBLE (on more than o...
Waterloo Ice House on Burnet is a basic bar/restaurant. Very basic. Most tables are picnic like, there is a seperate room for smokers, kind of like a greenhouse room with no plants. Burgers and sandwiches are a good size, the Nachos I must say are quite plentiful. However their entrees seem to b...
This place is a wonderful deal if you're REALLY hungry. They have many wonderful prepared salads- I liked the Lite Waldorf and Smashed potato. There is also a pasta bar with delicious meatballs and a choice of three tasty soups (a very hearty noodled chicken noodle). The bakery is the best part of t...

First let me tell you, the parking is horrendous and you're guaranteed at least an hour wait on a Saturday night. The inside reminds me of a ski lodge warm and open and filled with lots of chatter. It is also very baby friendly. I think I saw 8 babies while we were waiting. You can dress up or go...

Great food. Noisy atmosphere. Infurating parking. Long wait most evenings. Smoked Chicken Chilli Rellino is to die for.

Great Mexican food. Not the usual Tex-Mex. Fresh ingredients in a fun atmosphere.

Great food, great service, great price! What's not to love? We eat here as often as we can without getting burned out. It reminds us of the great Indian food we had in California, prepared by our neighbors.
Chinese Food Lovers unite, or just Asian people unite. The place was pretty empty when we arrived, however by the end of the evening we noticed that the place had become pretty packed and caucasians were clearly the minority. We should have known something was up when we were handed two menus. One t...
I was not impressed with the location on Red River at all. My food was prepared incorrectly, the price for mexican food was outragious, it tasted bland, it was cold, and just not what I expected. The dining area I was seated in was cramped and service was slow and looked like they didn't have enou...
Serranos has been a personal favorite of mine for years, and this is its best location in Austin. The food is good, service is ok, and the building is very nice. For the health-conscious I recommend the fabulous Pollo Loco and their sopapillas always are the perfect ending to a great meal.

The food was wonderful. Expensive, but worth it. However, our waiter was arrogant, snide, and inattentive. He ruined what should have been a delightful evening. We didn't complain to management, but should have.

The Tavern... well on the outside it looks exactly what you would expect a Tavern to look like. Which is why it stands out sitting next to the local gas station. It's not too hard to spot, but the parking isn't the best. Inside it looks like a lodge of some sort, you expect it too be hazed over i...

The drive thru consistently gets the order wrong so even though the food is OK it is not what is ordered - check your bag!

FOUND THE RESTAURANT TO BE PRETENTIOUS. STRIVES TO BE FINE DINING EXPERIENCE, BUT FAILS MISERABLY TO GIVE THE PATRONS ANY SENSE OF PRIVACY AS TABLE AFTER TABLE ARE STACKED IN THE SMALL SPACE. NOT RECOMMENDED FOR AN INTIMATE EVENING! SERVICE WAS FAIR, WAITED 10-15 MINUTES FOR COFFEE AFTER THE DESSER...

frans.citysearch.com Look closely at this site. It looks like a 50's joint does it not?? Okay well reality hits ya when you pull in. There is no big plastic chick on top of the building, in fact it looks like a VFW with a drive thru. The inside looks and smells like a cafeteria, however it is jazz...

Taco Cabana is a fast food restaurant and as mexican food goes is of average quality. However since there are not many Mexican fast food places, it is better than most. Not as good as most table service restaurants but much better than Taco Bell.
