Waterloo Ice House on Burnet is a basic bar/restaurant. Very basic. Most tables are picnic like, there is a seperate room for smokers, kind of like a greenhouse room with no plants.

Burgers and sandwiches are a good size, the Nachos I must say are quite plentiful. However their entrees seem to be pretty small. Not enough for a Hungry Man. 1/4 lb cookies are available for .75. However, I don't know if they actually have them. When asked for one, they weren't any made but a batch had just been put in. 20 minutes later we asked again. This time we were told, it wasn't going to be ready "anytime soon". What the hell is that supposed to mean?!!. Do they really exist??

For lunch, I don't plan to return, there are about a billion other places in Austin to go. However, we will go back to try the breakfast, we heard they're pretty good. Maybe the cookie will be done by then?
