Simply the Best. It is not the fanciest place but is located in an area that will fast become the new hot spot for New Orleans. Lots of housing beinging buillt for the hospital industry. Right off Tulane & Jeff. Davis.
I use to be assisant manager of this place about 14 years ago. Their food is rolling. I need to go get me some chicken, home made red beans and rice & the best onion rings around. They have po boys, daily specials, their rice dress beats all others, mashed potatoes and homemade gravy, homemade biscu...
Being a New Yawka..minimally going to Chinatown every Sunday morning for dim sum...and for clams or mussels or shrimp or lobster & black bean sauce on the way home...I really miss the complex simplicity of good Chinese food. God is merciful...and there is Hoshun's here in NOLA...the duck & pumpkin ...
I am a New Orleans resident. When I entertain people from out of town or locals, I take them to Broussard's because I can absolutely count on having a fine dining experience, from fresh and delicious food to impeccable service.
I recommend this restaurant with great pleasure.
For a 24/7 hour Diner I was quite impressed. Brought my family in and every one loved it. We got the shrimp po-boy, wings, burgers, breakfast, gumbo, and red beans. The portions were huge. The best part about the restaurant it was right across from the hotel we were staying at. With the 3.99 ear...
Daily specials the way to go. Red Beans and Cochon d'lait are outstanding. Burgers are big and juicy. I eat there regular and have not been dissapointed with the food. Sometimes a little too spicy for me, that's why the 4 stars.
The daily specials are fantastic and you get SO MUCH for your $! Very laid back and personal. Everyone seems to be a regular. Very welcoming and friendly environment. You won't leave a stranger. (or hungry)!!!
Best jerk chicken outside the islands I've every had. The owner is authentic. It's now a place I go once a month without fail.
This is one of the best poboy shops in the metro area. Call ahead with your order to save some time, and they frequently close around holidays and are closed Sundays so check ahead. If you manage to find them open, you're in for a treat!
WOW what Fabulous food!! The staff is super and the patrons are so friendly--you enjoy dining alone!
This place is amazing. The restuarant is beatiful and inviting, the food was just one delight after another. The bartender Mariann was one of the friendlist people we meet in New Orleans. I wish we had more time in New Orleans we would have gone back for dinner another night.
cool place to hang out and eat, Rec going without kids.
*^&**** Awesome!! I was a bit wary upon my serendipitous arrival; however, I was blown away. I wish DD existed in my village in India!
Located on quaint Magazine St., with some great local bars nearby, it's a great place to meet up with friends and hang out. Also, the food's not too bad either.
I called over the phone for a hard to find Jamaican cooking product and the owner was gracious enough to save a bottle of his own for me to buy, until his next shipment comes. That is service at its finest! Thank you Boswell's
We were in New Orleans a week before Gustav hit and asked about our favorite restaurant, Charlie's. We have been going there whenever in NOLA for about fourty years. We have been disapointed when it did not open after Katrina. Well to our delight it had just reopened and the food was as delightful...
If you crave authentic sushi, the Asian Pacific Cafe stands out in a town full of fake sushi. Everything is fresh and prepared before your eyes. They offer a variety of seating options, including the patio and there is something on the menu for everyone. What began as a neighborhood restaurant dr...
Rude staff. Stay away. Left without ordering food.
It took one hour and a half to get my food. I ordered my steak Medium and it came back burnt. Then the waitress disappeared. I was very upset. I will never go to this resturant again. I did not send the steak back because I was just ready to leave. I did not want to wait another hour and a hal...
