A diner from New Orleans Jan 23, 2010
We had the misfortune of eating in this...um...restaurant? yesterday.
To say we were underwhelmed is an understatement. First, the buffet (shouldn't call it that) was just a few crock pots and an ancient heating station out of a kitchen surplus...and everything was COLD and leftovers.
Second, the menu. They try to shove everything under the sun in that menu. A menu this big means either a huge staff or a lot of frozen and pre-made food.
Let me just say, there was no big staff.
I ordered the bbq shrimp in a bread bowl. What I got was a few uncleaned whole shrimp (heads, feet and feelers still on) in a muffalatta roll. It was the same kind of BBQ sauce you would put in ribs..only not even as good.
My poor girlfriend ordered a crab cake with roumalede which turned out to be (I kid you not) a tuna fish fake served with thousand Island dressing. There was NO CRAB to be had. Those two things and tea were 22.50 and wasn't worth 2.50.
I don't give this place 3 months. Just a travesty.

A wonderful experience. Fun people, staff & local diners, but most importantly, the food was excellent. An amazing menu. Delicious $7.99 buffet too! Imagine $$7.99 for all you can eat Cajun food. What a joy.

We ordered the shrimp alfredo and the cream sauce was sour. They took it back and we ordered the fried shrimp, it was good. They did not compensate us for the bad alfredo at all, poor hospitality.
