The food at the Taj Mahal is delicious. On the weekends, you can have a buffet-style meal, which ends up being both wonderfully tasty and affordable. None of the food is too spicy. They offer several types of vegetarian curry, rice, several chicken curries and dishes, including chicken tika masala a...

What is happening to the Cedar Rapids Metro Supperclubs? Ced-Rel and the Lighthouse seem to be in competition to which is the worst. Both are too expensive for bad food. The lighthouse does have a good steak but so does Texas Roadhouse and that is cheaper and with a better salad, potato, and rolls. ...
Complete disgust with the establishment. I am only giving 1 star because the site requires me to, otherwise it would be 0 stars. This does not even qualify as BBQ! I tried Al & Irene's BBQ house based on a living social deal and word of mouth that it was good, but I can guarantee we (my family) W...

Was really looking forward to this meal after eating at a Texas Roadhouse years ago and was disappointed in the quality of the steak. The service was good and the bread was great.

I've been going to the Beijing since I was in a high chair, and I have many fond memories of everyone there. They are all friendly, willing to work with you to help you get the perfect meal and very understanding of restricted dietary needs. A big winner in my book!
I've had a lot of Mexican food in my day, and Hacienda is the best Mexican food you can get in Cedar Rapids. It's very, very easy on the wallet and you get huge portions. I have brought many friends to this place and they have loved it. Now it's one of two Mexican places I will eat in Cedar Rapid...
I have lived in the Southern United States so I know good barbeque when I taste it. I was looking fo r a good BBQ place in Cedar Rapids, and was told to go to Al and Irene's. Al and Irene's is hands down the worst BBQ I have ever had. I felt betrayed, or like the person who told me to go there wa...

The Butterfly has AMAZING good home cooking food. I have always had a great experience there. The prices are right, the food is great and the people are "normal." Lots of times there is only one server and they get pretty busy, plus you don't need a reservation, they are always accomodating. I l...

The food is great, but the portions are WAY smaller than they used to be while prices have gone up. Their sandwiches used to be twice as big as now. $4.25 for a fish sandwich that isn't much bigger than a chicken mcnugget. We won't go back unless they go back to their old ways. Sorry BF

My wife and I love pizza from local establihments. Pizza Daddy is by far one of the best deals out there. We order from them regularly. It don't matter what time of night the food is always great. Their veggies snap when you bite them. The sauce is nearly intoxicating. We can't say enough good thing...

Ahhh, the Lighthouse. I still want to love it, but I don't. I can go to Texas Roadhouse, spend 8 dollars and get a wonderful steak with better flavor, a hot fresh potato, and a crisp cold salad with great bread. At the Lighthouse in the past couple of years, it is a good steak, potatos are sometimes ...

We have stopped eating at other restaurants, period. Sushi House is truly a 5 star experience no matter what your preference. The chef is superb. This restaurant takes Asian cuisine to the pinnacle of perfection. I have tried literally everything on the menu and never been disappointed. When availab...

I LOVE the Breakfast House. It manages to stay simplistic in the "mom and pop" kind of way and still appeal to a large mass of people. While I really liked the laid back demeanor the restaurant had pre-flood, the renovation and new decorating scheme makes for a whole new experience that's still deli...

The ribs are incredible! You can take the bones out with two fingers. Great french onion soup. Great bread. Great service. Our favorite place to eat. The ribs are so good, I haven't tried anything else the twelve times I've been there.

We had the best Chirstmas part there. The food is always great at the lighthouse inn. I have seen others say bad things about them but it was not the night we went there or any other time. I also have seen that many pepole have also said the same thing about other place all mark the same day it's a ...
Horrible customer service and order is never completed correctly. we will not go back. too many bad visits!!!!
Of all the mexican resturants in Cedar Rapids this one is the one that gives you good basic home style mexican. It's not Tex/Mex it's just straight forward mexican like I'm used to at lunch counters in Florida or California. Everything is made from scratch and quite tasty. It's basically a bakery...
My husband and I love good barbecue. We decided to try Al and Irene's in Cedar Rapids. The staff were friendly, but everyone seemed tired. We ordered rib meals with beans and coleslaw. The meat was as tough, the sauce tasted like tomato paste, the beans were hard and the coleslaw was tasteless. We at...
