The ribs are incredible! You can take the bones out with two fingers. Great french onion soup. Great bread. Great service. Our favorite place to eat. The ribs are so good, I haven't tried anything else the twelve times I've been there.

We had the best Chirstmas part there. The food is always great at the lighthouse inn. I have seen others say bad things about them but it was not the night we went there or any other time. I also have seen that many pepole have also said the same thing about other place all mark the same day it's a shame that pepole sit at home with out anything else to do but write things about restaurants. This is why we have such a bad job market!

I've had a lot of Mexican food in my day, and Hacienda is the best Mexican food you can get in Cedar Rapids. It's very, very easy on the wallet and you get huge portions. I have brought many friends to this place and they have loved it. Now it's ...

I've been going to the Beijing since I was in a high chair, and I have many fond memories of everyone there. They are all friendly, willing to work with you to help you get the perfect meal and very understanding of restricted dietary needs. A big ...

The food at the Taj Mahal is delicious. On the weekends, you can have a buffet-style meal, which ends up being both wonderfully tasty and affordable. None of the food is too spicy. They offer several types of vegetarian curry, rice, several chicken c ...

The Butterfly has AMAZING good home cooking food. I have always had a great experience there. The prices are right, the food is great and the people are "normal." Lots of times there is only one server and they get pretty busy, plus you don't need ...

Was really looking forward to this meal after eating at a Texas Roadhouse years ago and was disappointed in the quality of the steak. The service was good and the bread was great.

This is a great place to eat and dine. If it is a busy night you might have to wait for your food but is the wait. You must understand that there meals are supper club type meals and not a fast food joint. If your looking for fast food go to burger king to eat not a supper club. I have ate there for 25 years +. There Broasted Chicken is worth the 25 min it takes to cook you get to huge breast with your order and my wife and I take home for lunch the next day! Ask them to see there kitchen for the size of there kitchen you be surpised of how many meals they put out in night. If you are looking for great bbq ribs here they are!

Entertainment was the highlight of the evening. It took the waitress 20 minutes to return to our table to advise us that they had run out of broasted chicken and advised us to order something else on the menu. After we ordered a subsitute we were advised they were also out of that. I specificially ordered that my french onion soup be served extremely hot. When received, which was 55 minutes later, it was barely luke warm and a slight greasy residue on top. The cheese was no where near melted. Another guest at our table received the wrong entree. The mixed drinks were very expensive and mixed extremely weak. A separate charge was on our ticket for the mix. This was our first and last experience with this resturant ( so-called supper club.)

We had a very bad experience from start to finish. It seemed like they were trying to hurry us out of there. We asked for a few more minutes to listen to the music in the bar & were told "no". One of us ordered broasted chicken & we were told it would take 1/2 hour. We said that was ok. Then they said they couldn't do broasted chicken but could do grilled chicken. It was more like chicken jerky & cost over $15. One chose the cod & it was like coming out of the frozen isle of a grocery store; awful. We asked for baked potatoes & they were out. One took a bite of her husband's salad & was told by the waitress that they should charge them $6 more(this was after she was told they didn't have what she wanted). My husband's wine glass was brought to him with gritty stuff all over the glass. We had to pay extra(they didn't tell us)for a little bit of Ranch dressing & cheese with our appetizers. My husband got charged extra for his salad dressing on his salad. When approached by the manager/owner & asked about our food we started to tell him it wasn't good & he just kept on walking like the only thing he wanted to hear was something good. My husband and I frequently enjoy the great food here. He LOVES the ribs and I love the fried shrimp. The fresh bread is also a nice treat. We had our rehearsal dinner here last October and our family only had great things to say.

This one top restaurant! The bbq ribs are the area. #1 ribs in town. The meal comes with a salad or soup ,homade bread, and side of potato for under $14.00

Very good food, bar and nice ambience with a bit of history adding some character. A short drive out of town, do take in the open fields full of red-winged blackbirds across the road.

They DO NOT take american express. Sorry business travelors. There aren't enough of us apparently. Perhaps there would be if there was a little effort in the marketing dept. I would have dined there 2-3 more times in the following wk if amex were accepted. And if they had an internet presence, I would have found them a month sooner. As it were, I heard them mentioned while at another restaurant. Get with it, Cedar Rapids restaurants, it you make your presence known, we will find you!
