I've had a lot of Mexican food in my day, and Hacienda is the best Mexican food you can get in Cedar Rapids. It's very, very easy on the wallet and you get huge portions.
I have brought many friends to this place and they have loved it. Now it's one of two Mexican places I will eat in Cedar Rapids; the other being La Salsita.

The give you a good size portions, and the Margarita's are the best! There salsa is more of a homemade taste and texture. Chips come out hot too!

the food is great but i will never eate there any more as i have paid to advertise on their placemats at all 3 locations and the they will not use the placemats but did hang them on the walls of the restroom above the urnals

Of all the mexican resturants in Cedar Rapids this one is the one that gives you good basic home style mexican. It's not Tex/Mex it's just straight forward mexican like I'm used to at lunch counters in Florida or Califo

The food at the Taj Mahal is delicious. On the weekends, you can have a buffet-style meal, which ends up being both wonderfully tasty and affordable. None of the food is too spicy. They offer several types of vegetarian

Was really looking forward to this meal after eating at a Texas Roadhouse years ago and was disappointed in the quality of the steak.The service was good and the bread was great.
