Of all the mexican resturants in Cedar Rapids this one is the one that gives you good basic home style mexican. It's not Tex/Mex it's just straight forward mexican like I'm used to at lunch counters in Florida or California. Everything is made from scratch and quite tasty. It's basically a bakery with a lunch counter. They have the best sopes ever and the tacos with bacon added are a real treat.

The give you a good size portions, and the Margarita's are the best! There salsa is more of a homemade taste and texture. Chips come out hot too!
