The food at the Taj Mahal is delicious. On the weekends, you can have a buffet-style meal, which ends up being both wonderfully tasty and affordable. None of the food is too spicy. They offer several types of vegetarian curry, rice, several chicken curries and dishes, including chicken tika masala and tandoori chicken, and naan and pakora, as well as desserts. The service is pretty good; there is only one waiter, and he manages to take care of the entire restaurant in decent time all by himself. It's one of my favorite restaurants in Cedar Rapids.

I have eaten in Indian restaurants all across the US. The food is good. If you want it very spicy, order off the menu and ask for it to be made that way. I have done that, and I have not been disappointed.
The food is great, but the portions are WAY smaller than they used to be while prices have gone up. Their sandwiches used to be twice as big as now. $4.25 for a fish sandwich that isn't much bigger than a chicken mcnugget. We won't go back unless the

The Butterfly has AMAZING good home cooking food. I have always had a great experience there. The prices are right, the food is great and the people are "normal." Lots of times there is only one server and they get pretty busy, plus you don't need

I've had a lot of Mexican food in my day, and Hacienda is the best Mexican food you can get in Cedar Rapids. It's very, very easy on the wallet and you get huge portions.
I have brought many friends to this place and they have loved it. Now it's

Was really looking forward to this meal after eating at a Texas Roadhouse years ago and was disappointed in the quality of the steak. The service was good and the bread was great.
I've been going to the Beijing since I was in a high chair, and I have many fond memories of everyone there. They are all friendly, willing to work with you to help you get the perfect meal and very understanding of restricted dietary needs. A big

The deeper you get in the Midwest, the more Americanized and bland the ethnic food becomes. The Taj Mahal fits this bill. Locals'll dig it while the demanding (like myself) may not. I would eat there again and even recommend the Taj Mahal to others locally, but it keeps me wanting for truly good Indian food.

Excellent food. You get a lot of food for your money - I recommend splitting a meal with a friend. Also, you can't go wrong with a cup of kheer at the end of the meal.

This could be the best indian food you can get in the whole of Iowa. As an ardent lover for indian food, I've tried many indian restaurents in this area and so, I can assure anyone that they won't be dissapointed with this restaurent if they are lovers of indian food!
