Olive Garden is always consistent. They offer a wide variety of selections...from vegetarian to non-vegetarian. Nice choices of wine and spirits. Comfy seats and tables that give you plenty of elbow room and privacy.
Food was tasty, waitress was very helpful and friendly. She actually boxed our food up for us, which hardly any restaurant does anymore. Is it such a big deal to take the dishes back and put them in a box for the customer instead of dumping a plastic box on the table for them to take care of it? ...
Nice atmosphere, good food with an Italian slant. Sister restaurant to Winifred's (and a couple others of the same ownership). Good bar with a bookstore theme. Why eat at a chain restaurant??? Let's restore regionality and celebrate the good local place!
Very good steak, seafood and regional fare. Most steaks are dry aged and very high quality. Good service, nice atmosphere. Based on many visits. Include the morels if in season.
Very nice place to eat, nice atmosphere is very nice. I would recommend ordering a bag of dicks. Make sure you request extra ranch.
I have eaten in Indian restaurants all across the US. The food is good. If you want it very spicy, order off the menu and ask for it to be made that way. I have done that, and I have not been disappointed.
The food at the Taj Mahal is delicious. On the weekends, you can have a buffet-style meal, which ends up being both wonderfully tasty and affordable. None of the food is too spicy. They offer several types of vegetarian curry, rice, several chicken curries and dishes, including chicken tika masala a...
good food, comfortable, clean surronding and nice people
Very good food, bar and nice ambience with a bit of history adding some character. A short drive out of town, do take in the open fields full of red-winged blackbirds across the road.
They DO NOT take american express. Sorry business travelors. There aren't enough of us apparently. Perhaps there ...
Very pleasant environment, good service and food. The locals love it. Plenty of greek specialties from main dishes to pizza. Ever tried saginaki? Do Not go to a chain restaurant!
I took my 7 year old with me to get some take out. The man was very friendly to my son (who is quite rambunctious). He even gave us the special although we were over a dollar short. The prices were outstanding for the amount of food given. You can get 3 entrees with extras for around 15 dollars. Foo...
Was really looking forward to this meal after eating at a Texas Roadhouse years ago and was disappointed in the quality of the steak. The service was good and the bread was great.
The food is great, but the portions are WAY smaller than they used to be while prices have gone up. Their sandwiches used to be twice as big as now. $4.25 for a fish sandwich that isn't much bigger than a chicken mcnugget. We won't go back unless they go back to their old ways. Sorry BF
There sauce is some of the best there is There meats are well prepared and smoked to a very high standard The service is slow and the servers are rude The atmosephere is sparce but clean I would eat there on a regular basis if the service were better
i read about al and irenes, and was pretty fired up about going there to try the ribs. we were there right at 11.00 am opening. iwalked in and asked if they were open yet, and in the back ground someone said you got in the door didnt you, i fiqured that this was the rude person i read about. it turn...
Everyone knows olive garden, there's probably an identical one in your hometown. the sauces are bland as is their meat, salads are great as are the bread sticks. Overall its overpriced for nothing more than super generic watered down Italian; your better off with the frozen Italian, at least you can...
The deeper you get in the Midwest, the more Americanized and bland the ethnic food becomes. The Taj Mahal fits this bill. Locals'll dig it while the demanding (like myself) may not. I would eat there again and even recommend the Taj Mahal to others locally, but it keeps me wanting for truly good ...
My husband and I love good barbecue. We decided to try Al and Irene's in Cedar Rapids. The staff were friendly, but everyone seemed tired. We ordered rib meals with beans and coleslaw. The meat was as tough, the sauce tasted like tomato paste, the beans were hard and the coleslaw was tasteless. We at...
A very dismal experience. Food Slow and poorly cooked. Over priced.
A group of six in town for a motivational conference, we stopped in to eat, were greeted rudely, waited 15 minutes to be greeted and over 45 minutes for our food. We watched tables around us sit down, not be greeted and walk away several times. Later we found out that they were not taking orders any...
