Food was tasty, waitress was very helpful and friendly. She actually boxed our food up for us, which hardly any restaurant does anymore. Is it such a big deal to take the dishes back and put them in a box for the customer instead of dumping a plastic box on the table for them to take care of it? She accidently dropped our leftover potatoes, and she apologized profusely and got us a whole new serving to take home with us. Did not take our daughter with us, but I think kid friendly probably depends largely on the behavior of the child. No clowns roaming around or anything, which is for the best anyway. I would have no qualms taking my daughter there for a nice meal. (She's 4.)

The food is great, but the portions are WAY smaller than they used to be while prices have gone up. Their sandwiches used to be twice as big as now. $4.25 for a fish sandwich that isn't much bigger than a chicken mcnugge

The food at the Taj Mahal is delicious. On the weekends, you can have a buffet-style meal, which ends up being both wonderfully tasty and affordable. None of the food is too spicy. They offer several types of vegetarian
