Great Castle is the best chinese food I have ever had. Whenever you crave food and you finally get it, it usually is not all you wanted it to be or remember it from the last time. But Great Castle never disappoints.

REALLY REALLY GOOD
All the people who go there to eat come very very satisfied and are frequent visitors. If I could, I would eat there every day. It is the best of the best. Super food, very friendly people and very resanable price. What else do I need?

Leo's is a mom and pop fast food place. The burgers are good. A nice variety of American fast food and Mexican fast food. It is packed at breakfast, so there must be something to that, but I have yet to experience breakfast there. I would recommend it for real decent fast food meal.

I have travelled the world and just came back from China and ate some wonderful food. The Castle ranks up there as one of the very best Chinese restuarants I have experienced. Ambience is dated but the food is outstanding

This is one of Bakersfield finer Italian Restaurants. Food and portions are excellent. The lasagna has great flavor & a large portion. Well worth a try.
Worst red sauce I have ever had: weak, anemic, watery. Salad was pathetic. Place was packed.

The owner is a friendly and gracious Italian man. The staff is sharp and helpfull. They have some great Italian food, including a couple originals. The thick, hearty pizza (not NY style) is one of showcase items and is among the best in Bakersfield.
This food is addictive! There's a reason they've been in business for so long. My grandparents used to take me here, and now I'm taking my children.

I've lived in Bakersfield and eaten basque food for over twenty years. There are a number of basque restaurants in Bakersfield and I think Benji's is the best. They have the best pickled tongue known to man and everything else is always consistantly excellent. I would recommend Benji's to anyone!

the saurbratten was a bit tough. however, the shnitzel was to die for. I was glad to have found this place over on the east side. We will come back.
I drove to eat there all the way from Burbank. It was worth it.
