This is by far the best Italian food in all of Bakersfield. My personal favorite is the parmaesan chicken. And if you like authentic pizza, theirs is phenomenal! Very busy on the weekends and I believe closed on Sundays.

The best (family affordable) Italian food in all of Bakersfield. I love the parmaesan chicken and authentic pizza or CALZONE. Very busy on the weekends and worth the wait.

I have been going to Rice Bowl for 22 years or so, and the service is always great.The waitress's are always so nice, they usually put your food in take out boxes for you, so sweet! This a cafe in a town full of wantabe cafes. think about this bakersfield has lots of starbucks, "the McDanalds of cafes", but as far as real cafes there are only a handful around. It's nice to have a place to go with freindly people to talk with.

We have found our new favorite restaurant in Bakersfield! We went tonight with our three daughters. They were very family friendly which we greatly appreciated. Warm, friendly atmosphere and great food. Couldn't have been better.
