Niramish has been the de facto neighborhood Indian restaurant of Little Five Points for long enough that locals just call it 'the Indian place on Euclid.' The Infatuation has it in their Atlanta guide, calling it the no-frills favorite for takeout-friendly curries, biryani, and a butter chicken that the publication says will solidify the place on your regular takeout rotation. The name itself is a tell: 'niramish' means vegetarian in Bengali, and the menu honors that lineage with a serious vegetarian and vegan section — the standard paneer dishes, but also chana masala, dal makhani, and saag preparations that any of the meat dishes can be ordered as instead. That said, the meat side of the menu is where the press lives: butter chicken, lamb vindaloo, chicken tikka masala, and a long list of biryanis, all available at customizable spice levels. Three styles of naan come out of the tandoor. The dining room is small and casual rather than white-tablecloth, which is part of the appeal — it's an L5P neighborhood spot, not a destination, and that's why the regulars are loyal.
