A group of 10 of us ate lunch at Mick's on Thursday, October 20, 2004. Before we placed our orders, we asked the waitress if the restaurant accepted the Entertainment discount card. She checked and let us know they did. A person in our group was charged for a full portion of Garlic Shrimp when she ordered a half portion. A manager corrected the bill but decided not to honor the Entertainment discount card. He said he did so because the orders were run up separately and he refused to re-ring the orders.
On the food: The chicken finger platter portion was large but the flavor was bland. The chicken penne was very bland and the sauce was very thin. Also the portion size was small. The garlic shrimp pasta was not fresh. The same food at the Underground Atlanta location was much more flavorful.

Great food! The pasta, ribs and shrimp are wonderful. I went around lunch time and the wait was about 10 minutes and that was ok being that it was Monday lunch downtown. I had the ribs. They were wonderful. The hosting and server staff was so friendly, which made the experience better, of course. I loved it. Great place.

I ate at Micks at the underground over the past All Star weekend. The bathroom was dirty; floors were not clean. I was reluctant to dine but my friend convinced me. (To me these signs were indications of the way the kitchen was kept)
We were seated in 20 minutes which wasn’t too bad considering the wait.
I order the Cajun pasta and asked the waiter to make it extra spicy!
There was a long wait for food which okay because of the restaurant was really busy. (We did not even receive water at our table.) Finally our food arrived; famished and thirsty I started to dig in! Only to find the worse surprise of my life there was a large roach in my food. (I had only indicated extra spice not insects) I have never ever ever had an experience like this... It still grosses me out thinking about it days later...It makes me sick to my stomach...However, I will take action I reported my surprise to the local health department. I called the manager over operations- Carol Cook- but I still have not received a return call. I will continue to call until I get a response!
This was tottaly unaceptable and could have been avoided!

I ate at the Mick's at Peachtree Center this afternoon and the food was incredible! They are in the process of renovating so the expectation was low but I had to have the fried green tomatoes. The service and food was excellent and I love what they are doing in the restaurant!
