Los Charros

Los Charros is the Bravo family's Mexican restaurant in Conyers, and per the own-site's 'Our Story' page it is the oldest Mexican restaurant in town. Guillermo 'Papa Willie' Bravo moved his family from Mexico to Covington in 1985 and opened the original Los Charros in Conyers in 1986; he and his son Carlos still run it today, four decades into the business. The name comes from the family's shared love of horse riding and the charro tradition that runs through Mexican ranch culture. The current location at 3560 GA-20, in the Honey Creek area east of Atlanta along the Rockdale-county stretch of state highway 20, is where the restaurant settled after moving from its first space, and it has been the family's anchor ever since.
