I'm not from the area, but know good sushi and authentic Japanese. This is grocery store grade at best. I've also never known fried rice to have corn in, or no choice for plain steamed rice. The menu is very plain, and not authentic. Our server was pleasant but we were not brought another glass of water we had asked early on for, and never received our other order of sushi. If you are ok with American plain/style Japanese food then you will enjoy it.

On suggestion of a friend, I took relatives visiting from Myrtle Beach a couple of years ago. Now, we always treat friends and ourselves to KiHa of Japan. The food is both excellent and reasonably priced! For those wanting sushi--well I'm told by them that it is better than what is available in Myrtle Beach and much less expensive. The staff are all very friendly and efficient. And, important to me: The sanitation grade has always been 100+!

This was so good i was surprised. No, they don't cook at the table like some of the Japanese restaurants in the area, but the food quality was so good. The atmosphere was otherwise very nice, and I plan to go back very soon.

I went here for lunch and I could not believe how this place blew me away. It is in a shopping center so at first I didn't expect much. When I walked in I saw it was way more than I thought. I joined my friend for lunch who highly recommended it to me. The service was great. The food came out so quick. We each got the habachi filet and a side of scallops to split. It was so fresh tasting. It was the quality of a really good habachi restaurant but you dont get the show which is made up for by the quality of the food. AND ITS SO REASONABLE! The food and 2 drinks cost about $23. It is a bit more for dinner but I'm guessing you get more food. I love this place and will be going back soon!

This is one of the best Japanese restaurant for Hibachi style dishes. I don't know about the sushi as I've not eaten sushi here but their Hibachi dishes are fresh and tasty! I even rate this place better than the Fire & Sticks in High Point. Sure Fire & Sticks' ambiance is better but the prices are also a lot higher and not as good. This is a small little restaurant with a very clean and good looking interior. Expect it to be full during busy hours like lunch in my case.
