Today was my first visit to this wonderful restaurant. I ordered the Chicken Pho Soup and an Egg Roll. The soup was flavorful and extremely tasty. The bean sprouts, basil and cilantro that accompanied the soup were all fresh and added a special spark to the soup. This restaurant will definitely be on my favorite list of restaurants in Greensboro. I can't believe that I've missed this restaurant during the 15 years we've lived here. FIVE STARS! A very pleasant dining experience (although not the fanciest of restaurants-still VERY enjoyable)

This restaurant has become a dinner favorite for friends and family, even for our 15-year-old. We have introduced several friends to this place and run into them there now and then.

I like it at lunch for meeting friends, prospects and associates where making a good impression is important. Nice acoustics --you can actually have a conversation at a normal level.

Several of the staff know us and remember our favorite dishes. It's nice to see familiar faces.

My only criticism, I think their desserts are a bit overpriced for the rest of the menu. Then again, the portions are very good and I have never had room for the desserts anyway.

My partner and I are serious food critics. So, when we read all the reviews on Bangkok Cafe' we had to find out for ourselves. On New Year's Eve - Dec 31st, 2011 we drove an hour to reach the Bangkok Cafe' from the far side of Yadkin County. We found ...

I have been going to this restaurant for four years. Loved it. Favorite was Pho soup. The past three times have changed my mind. They have a new cook and maybe a new owner. Each time I go there are new faces both on the floor and in the cooking area.

My last visit on sunday consisted of ordering the Seafood Fried Rice for $9.95 and what I got was about a pound of fried rice that the cook did not add any oil to the rice. 1/3 of the rice is still laying on the grilling surface. It was dried out. Come on, what does it take to cook fried rice!

The menu said it had shrimp, scallops, and squid. I got ONE Scallop which I pointed it out to my waitress and she said "NO, you have four". I then told her the cook quartered the ONE Scallop into four pieces, each one the size of a nickel.

I also got FOUR SHRIMP AND THREE SQUID.

This was NOT worth $9.95 and should have not cost more than $5.95.

Since they remodeled everything is now TEN DOLLAS.

On my previous visit the Pho soup was awful. There was no cinnamon or clove in the broth which makes this a tasty soup. It was bland and the fresh Basil leaves were not fresh. Each leave had scars where a bug had eaten on it and were brown. The same with the bean sprouts, brown bean sprouts I might add.

I will never go to this restaurant again. Sure every place has an off day but this is not off day's but a change in calibur.

Good-Bye to this place. There are many more places that serve good Vietnamese food.

This is one of our favorite area restaurants and we have eaten here dozens of times. A recent reviewer recommended the V7 or V9. Let me put in a plug for V8,my personal favorite. The curries, soups and noodle dishes are all excellent. And try the salty lemonade for something different.

I have been eating at this restaurant since 2001. The chicken soup and spring rolls are the best. The value is hard to beat. The place is clean and the service is good.

First off, it is not easy to find without some prior knowledge of its location. But once you do... It is a jewel in Greensboro's crown. The value is fantastic, the food wonderfully good. Planning on going there tomorrow. The staff are friendly and courteous, I consider them friends or even family. I would suggest either V-9 or N-7. These are Rice noodles with Grilled Shrimp, grilled pork and spring rolls and Street noodles with Beef. Both are served with their Home-made Fish Sauce. The former is like a fresh bite out of the garden and the latter is just plain good!

It's all good and the lunch menu is great with a very affordable price. As far as it's 21st spot on the top restaurants it may be, but for Asian food... Its got to be #1

Pho is the butter. I eat there many times a week. The lunch specials are the best in the triad. Everything on the menu is absolutely great. I highly recommend this dining experience.

I would say this is the best Vietnamese place here in the Triad. You must try their PHO and spring rolls... it is their specialty. I am always satiated when I leave... and looking forward to my next visit. :)
