About Just Loaf'N Poboys & Snoballs

Just Loaf'N is the New Orleans po'boy specialist that grew out of an Atlanta food truck and is now the default answer for Cajun food on the Boulevard corridor of Grant Park. Atlanta Magazine has called it 'Best Cajun' and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution flagged its bread as 'Best' in town — the bread distinction matters more than it sounds, because the defining problem of Atlanta po'boys is sourcing real Leidenheimer-style French loaves rather than generic sub rolls. The Boulevard SE storefront is a small, family-run room with brick-and-mortar siblings in Marietta and on Flat Shoals; the operation has been at it since 2009, originally as a food truck. The menu reads exactly as it should: shrimp, oyster, catfish, and roast beef po'boys 'dressed' New Orleans-style; gumbo with shrimp and andouille sausage; jambalaya, gator bites, beignets, and the namesake snoballs (shaved-ice cones in the New Orleans style, which run sweeter and finer-textured than typical Atlanta snow cones). Tripadvisor reviewers consistently call out the gumbo as a sleeper pick — well-balanced, heavy on the holy trinity, and fairly priced for the portion.
