Cajun Kitchen is a moderately priced eatery in a casual atmosphere. Located in Downtown/midtown/ Georgia Tech area.Cool jazz adds to New Orleans styled decor while Chef Maurice L. Butler creates. Chef Maurice, born in the French Quarter, brings over 30years of experience from world class kitchens like Commander's Palace to small "mom and pop" kitchens of family and friends. When asked how he describes his signature dishes- ..."I tend to mix mostly African, Indian, French and Spanish herbs and spices with what I learned in my 7 year apprenticeships under Italian chefs in the Quarter."
He will be creating a rotating menu which will feature many of his signature dishes in addition to the classic standards of New Orleans cuisine.
