While walking through Atlantic Station and looking at all the menus posted outside of the restaurants, the Atlantic Grill's menu stands out as the cheapest and most American fare around. It's a small place with an outdoor dining area and purports to have the best martinis in the area. We walked in and there were a handful of customers sitting in booths and a swarm of employees hanging around the bar area. My fiancee and I grabbed some menus off of the bar and seated ourselves. The items on the menu looked edible, and I was ready to order. After 10 minutes of employees walking past us, eating the grill's food and avoiding eye contact with me, we decided to leave. I have never been to a restaurant that wanted so little to do with the customers. As we left, I could see that two guys who were sitting at a booth with sodas were angrily eyeballing the staff, I assume for the same reasons. My guess is that the people who work here believe they are higher class than their customers just because they work at the cheapest restaurant in the newest, fanciest part of town.
