The food is always so fresh and it is not so cheapy like other seafood dine in places.Ive never had a bad experience eating at Tides Inn.By the way the food is great!!!

I LOVE TIDES INN. I LIVE ON WEST MARKET AND I WILL DRIVE THERE EVERYDAY IF I CAN. I ALWAYS GET MY MONEY WORTH

I have been a regular visitor of Tides Inn for many years, and I can say without reservation that they have the WORST french fries in the world. The fish is fine, but the fries they add to most meals is plain and awful. The decor is plain, stale, and old! Lastly, the waitresses are friendly and hard working, but they dress very poorly for working in a restaurant. Final word: Get a new recipe for french fries...

I went to the 'take out' counter, and the employees were very nice. They went over the menu with me; explaining the differences in the fish they served. One young lady went as far as letting me sample the 'baby shrimp' because I was asking how 'baby', or how 'small' were they vs. medium or jumbo shrimp. The food overall was good; but I think they need to refrigerate the tartar and cocktail sauces instead of having it at the take out counter for customers. It's not good to leave that out and not kept cold, in my opinion.

Great restaurant, the food had a unique old fashion seafood taste. Melt in your mouth, the service made you feel right at home. The amount of food for your money was unbelievable. I will take the 2.5 hour drive just for the restaurant.
