We are fairly new locals and one of our first priorities when we moved here was to try all the NM cuisine in ABQ, we have accomplished that mission. We prefer the small independently owned businesses and we must say, Ben Michael's is on top. Everything on the menu has a distinct flavor that is not d...
I used to love their sandwiches - awesome cheese steak -- but now they never seem to have it. That leaves the rest of the menu -- it's just ok. Expensive for the quality. Wait staff has a great sense of humor. Guess they need it these days.
Garduno's is the best mexican food in Albuquerque. If you want good food with fast service then this is the place. It is kid frendly and adult friendly at the same time.

Perhaps it's a victim of it's own success, but this place has gone downhill. The last couple of times I've tried it, the food was oily, carelessly prepared, overpriced and the service lousy. I'm not going back. Plenty of other places in town that are better and cheaper, with similar food.

This is one of the best kept secrets in cheap, delicious, quality Chinese food in this city. I have been going there for close to 12 years and every time I do, I leave with a full belly and wallet! The egg rolls/spring rolls are fabulous and just about every dish I've tried is fresh, tasty and worth...
I had made a reservation for 3 pm. When I arrived at 2:55pm I saw two couples waiting. I told the hostess my name and the reservation time. She verified it and we were seated right away. The experience was pretty much the same there on. I had to only tell the water once something and in a few minute...
The Onion Soup was $9.00 a bowl and tasted like dirty dishwater would taste. NO FLAVOR, NO ONIONS to speak of and NO MANAGER ANYWHERE around. NEVER AGAIN!!! JUST HORRIBLE!!!
Great Salads. Great Pie. NO Jimmy is NOT single.
Retro good. A menu from the 60's. We dine here once or twice a year. This time was my birthday [myself and my wife and two old friends]. When we dine alone my wife and I usually have the Chateaubriand. This time we also all went for beef (the Henry IV, Petite Fillet, and Steak au Poivre twice]. A...
This place has a tempeh Reuben that is to die for... This is a small cafe and don't expect foo foo service but be grateful for excellent quality juices and lunch items. No Meat
Great family restaurant, great BBQ!!!
We eat at Vietnam 2000 at least once a week. We live all the way in Paradise Hills, but don't mind driving at all because it's the the BEST. Portions, price, and most of all TASTE!!!
Great variety of food. Always consistently great.
If you go to any other place in New Mexico you'll find out that every other New Mexican Cuisine is 10x better than this. This Food was garbage... bottom line. (p.s. The Calabisitas were trash)
We stopped here in an RV on our way to Memphis with two college age kids, my husband and I and our 7 yr old. Ambience was great. Food was fabulous and the staff (Ben and a lovely older woman) were fantastic. My husband and I are huge fans of New Mexican cuisine. This was grest for everyone. Will g...
I've been coming here for 25+ years. To their credit, the quality and value have remained high. My favorite is the vegetarian dinner -- it's wonderful!
I have found Mimmo's to be consistently good in all areas. FINE Italian food, service is great, ambiance very "family friendly". We eat here at least every other week and sometimes more. We have NEVER had a disappointing meal in the 3 years we have been coming to Mimmo's. Karen Cotter Albuquerq...
Great food. Try their green chile cheeseburger. Only downside is that they're closed on the weekends.
My husband and I discovered Evergreen Restaurant when we just arrived in Albuquerque at the end of November 2007. Since then, we've become Evergreen loyal, dining there at least twice a week and often three times. We bring our friends there, too. The value is out of this world. To say it's outstandi...
Since we live and work in Nob Hill, we shop and eat local. However we will not be going back to Yanni's. Several times over the summer/Fall of 2007 when we have gone in for lunch- we have had to wait forever to get service and then the service was awful-There are 2 servers in particular who seem to ...
