Albuquerque Restaurant Guide

I love the food. Sure, its had its ups and downs, but that comes with every restaurant. The atmosphere is lovely and quiet. The food is delicious and flavorful. It's a restaurant to take your family to. I don't think I've ever had an experience there that I've disliked.

My husband and I discovered Evergreen Restaurant when we just arrived in Albuquerque at the end of November 2007. Since then, we've become Evergreen loyal, dining there at least twice a week and often three times. We bring our friends there, too. The value is out of this world. To say it's outstanding is an understatement. Lunch buffet only costs $4.99 (when we first dined there, it cost $6.39 which we thought was a steal of a deal already!). They make fresh sushi right before your eyes and usually, there are up to 15 different types of raw fish sushi and rolls. Back in Canada, we'd have to pay $15 or more just for this type of sushi, not to mention all the other great, delicious food Evergreen offers. They always have 6 or more different soups, including miso soup, always hot. There's also a nice selection of dim sum, desserts, salad bar, and hot Chinese food and pizza. How can you get anything like this for $4.99? Even if you were in Vegas, expect to pay at least $20-$25 for a spread like this! Definitely the best buffet in Albuquerque and the best buffet we've ever had, and we are comparing Evergreen to buffet restaurants in Las Vegas, Winnipeg (Canada), San Francisco Bay Area, and Minneapolis.

Great food--the value is great, one can have sushi for under $20.00 and get a lot of other foods. The service is okay depending on your server. The is so much different food and one will be happy going to Evergreen for lunch or dinner.
