They Have the best tasting salsa I have ever had it is so fresh and the cilantro really kicks it up. They have great food and probably the nicest and best waitor i've ever been served by anywhere. I wish I could say that the food was great. It was not bad, just not great. Beans and rice were undercooked and we had to ask for fajita toppings you get at other restaurants (lack thereof part of the "authentic" cuisine?). The fajitas themselves were good. I agree that service was slow but, w...

The food and service are phenomenal. Huge portions for reasonable prices and the taste is the best I've found in Jacksonville. They have at least four locations in Jax now and every one I've visited has been excellent. Service is always fast and usually friendly.
I have been dining at El Potro for years. The food is amazing, and the wait staff begins to know customers by name and/or order. The buffet is a great deal, considering you won't have to eat again for the rest of the day!
I had a lunch special to-go. The service was fast, friendly and I was given a lot of food for a reasonable cost. The food seems fresh and offers a nice, healthy change from greasy fast food.
Authentic Mexican Food, Family owned & run, Great food, Good Service, order from the menu or take advantage of their great buffet. My family and I have been regular customers for years.
