this resturant has gone down hill, the buffet is a joke, all the food is not on the bar, some items were removed all together, the last 3 visits i made there was no melted cheese on the bar. the bars food containers were always left near empty even when first used. the bathrooms were as messy as a truckstop, wet,sticky floors, and no paper towels or anyway to dry hands, dirty urinals, i gave this resturant 3 chances within 2 months but nothing changed, also i mentioned this to the people in charge and they could not be bothered.

I have been dining at El Potro for years. The food is amazing, and the wait staff begins to know customers by name and/or order. The buffet is a great deal, considering you won't have to eat again for the rest of the day!

I had a lunch special to-go. The service was fast, friendly and I was given a lot of food for a reasonable cost. The food seems fresh and offers a nice, healthy change from greasy fast food.

Authentic Mexican Food, Family owned & run, Great food, Good Service, order from the menu or take advantage of their great buffet. My family and I have been regular customers for years.

I wish I could say that the food was great. It was not bad, just not great. Beans and rice were undercooked and we had to ask for fajita toppings you get at other restaurants (lack thereof part of the "authentic" cuisi

The food and service are phenomenal. Huge portions for reasonable prices and the taste is the best I've found in Jacksonville. They have at least four locations in Jax now and every one I've visited has been excellent. S

My wife and were visiting the area and found this restaurant on the Internet. We had great soups and the service was great! When we are back in Jacksonville, we will definitely be eating here again!
