Food is excellent and buffet counters are kept clean. Service is inattentive. After three requests for water, we never received any and finally gave up. Response to ordering additional drinks was painfully slow. Chefs had a hard time keeping the buffet stocked and lines stalled as diners waited...
I have been to a few other Japanese buffets in the past, but they all pale in comparion to Shinju. They have such a large selection of sushi, rolls, & sashimi and the chefs are constantly right there making more. There is also a large selection of cooked foods, but for me the sushi, sashimi and rol...

We were astounded with the freshness of the fish and pleasantly surprised with the attentiveness and knowledge of the server...We had a combo sushi and sashami plate...Fell in love with everything including the white tuna and white fish which we never tasted as good anywhere...This restaurant was r...

What can I say that hasn't already been said! I have been a regular at Taisho for years.I dine-in most of the time and the staff and owner always remembers me and is extremely friendly. I usually get the all-you-can-eat sushi. My 4 year old likes the Salmon roe (ikura sushi).
My husband and I were surprised by the quality of the food. It was very fresh and delicious. We eat a lot of sushi and this is easily one of the best in Boca.
Loved my experience at Taisho, the food was great, I enjoyed the fact that they bring you your food as you are ready to eat, instead of buffet style dining. We got to watch a nice game on their huge tv's and the staff was right on top of things. Great time, would do it again.
Kyoto has some incredible rolls and one of my favs of all is the Volcano Roll - The Volcano Sauce which i sometime order on the side and put on another roll is awesome - its a must try- the head hunter roll is great and most of the food is delicious- def a must try sushi place if you like sushi!!!
The sushi here at this restaurant is of really good quality, compared to many here in South Florida. The fish is always fresh. The service can be slow but we tend to go on nights when it is not too crowded. They have an all you can eat that is reasonably priced and there is a very nice selection of r...
They are under the same management. Quality of food is superior to any take out places in the general vicinity. Not to mention, they are ultra fast with delivery! They've never hung up the phone on me. Snowbirds can be choosy, but the locals are devoted. :D Excellent place, with a cute websi...
Weirdest Sushi experience yet. Slllooowwww service. Spanish speaking staff doesn't any understand English. Your order appears very slowly a dish at a time. The Sushi was good but not very good and not any attempt was made to present it in an appealing manner. Much better values are available in all ...

Very rude owner. They watch you like a hawk. Huge rice. Enforce the 90 minutes policy stictly very rude. They charge you a tip then want you to tip more. The owner is supper rude and watches you to make sure nothing goes wrong. They tell you to you dont leave rice balls.
I’ve been eating at Kansai for about 12 years now and for many years called it the best Sushi restaurant in the state. I believe it has been sold 2-3 times in the past 3-4 years unfortunately losing its luster in the process. 2005’ish… The restaurant doubled in size adding hibachi grills, down goe...

While food is tasty, the servers come and go. Chef/owner is a tyrant, I've been told. His wife is a wonderful women. We have eaten there for over two years almost every Monday. We called it "Matsu Monday". We brought friends regularly, our children's family there once or twice a month, out of ...
