Nowhere else can you find an owner of a cafe who treats the repeat clientele as if they are family. Excellent food (I personally recommend the Asian Pear Salad, my favorite)and friendly atmosphere (impressive) make hungry eaters want to come back for more. I highly recommend for anyone who has not b...

A great place for lunch. Very courteous and friendly owner and staff. Meals are delicious and creatively put together, blending flavors that would delight any gourmet. I've tried caribbean chicken, tofu, Gabe's special, cajun sandwiches, two varieties of burgers, Salvadoran wrap, and lumpia. The...

I had my 30 year high school reunion there and it was perfect. Great place for a banquet or party in the upstairs grand ballroom. They have several private rooms, some with a fireplace, some with skylights. It's a big restaurant. The food, service and prices were very good. Bill

My lawyer, Jeff L, kept telling me about this place so I had to check it out. I was very impressed. Bella Mia is probably one of the biggest restaurants in Downtown San Jose with a huge formal grand ballroom with private bar, two "very clubby" inter-connected fireside club rooms, (and thats just on...

In '98 we celebrated my grandparents 50th anniversary party here. We rented out the entire place and it was FABULOUS. Everyone had a blast. They managed to make 160 sicilians happy! HAHA I also went to prom with some friends at Palermo and it was amazing. The waiter was not all that friendly but he ...

Tomo has the freshest and best selection of sushi that we have found in San Jose. The sushi bar is usually full during dinner hour however the table area is fairly large so there may be a seat available for you (except friday and saturday night). The house sushi specialties are albacore tataki, slic...

Excellent place! I go there all the time for the fantastic salads, miso soup to die for, delicious teriyaki dinners, and the freshest sushi I have ever had! Sit at the bar and watch the chef do his magic, the ambience of this place is fantastic, I would DEFINITELY recommend this to anyone!
I hope you are all ready for this review... Came here last night for a birthday dinner for an old friend so the 10 or so of us got the corner booth seats in the corner. Before coming here, I didn't realize it was an "ALL YOU CAN EAT" joint so at first I was reluctant because AYCE usually mean...

A lot of us love this place. Many family members and friends pick this place for bday and celebrations. The good thing about it for parties is it is a long dinner. Do not go here if you want to eat and run or get to a movie on time. This place is about slow cooked, slow enjoyment foods. You will be ...
