A wonderful place to go relax and eat while on your lunch break. The service, food and atmosphere is great, and you get back to work on time.
A group of workmates and I flew to Fairbanks for the day to visit some clients. We asked the cabbie if he could recommend a lunch spot. He did. Went to Soapy Smith's. What a great atmosphere! We were greeted by an incredibly friendly host/waiter who made us feel so much at home.
As he brought ...

My wife and I were in Soapy Smith's in September during the Labor Day weekend. We had a great time. Bill was the best waiter anybody could hope to have, giving us a bit of local history while we had our meal. My wife had the crab burger and couldn't have been happier. She said it was the best crab b...

I love the service, a more friendly place I have yet to find.
We went to Zydeco Way Cafe for the first time today for lunch. LaVaDa is warm and welcoming. They don't accept credit cards yet. We ordered the Etouffee and Shrimp Jambalaya. Both are delicious with huge portions. We asked for seconds on the cornbread, it was awesome. This is a cute little hol...
Excellent menu, many different entrees to choose from. Delightful appetizers and awesome desserts. Prompt service, even when full.
This is an outdoors experience (shelter is provided for when it rains!). I highly recommend the halibut. Buffet type service located at Alaskaland, so there are lots of other things to see and do before and after.
Geraldo's is a wonderful Italian restaurant, and they're whole philosophy is garlic! garlic! garlic! which is alright with me! :)
The ambience there is just like you'd want out of an Italian restaurant, dim, smells heavenly and lots of Frank Sinatra in the background.
The food is very good, th...
Good food, very attentive (almost overly friendly) service. The best thing about it is the prices, which are uncommonly low for this sort of food, and they haven't gone up with the inflation of every other restaurant in Fairbanks. Awesome! I haven't had too much of the menu, but the only thing I ...
I was hoping that Souvlaki would be a great Greek resaurant, since there aren't any others in Fairbanks (to my knowledge). But, the food was so-so and the service left something to be desired. The menu is very small, and that limits the tastes you can experience. Overall, I wasn't impressed enough t...
VERY GOOD FOOD. INTERESTING WALLS TO LOOK AT. MENU IS LIMITED,BUT THATS OK!
The Thai House is a great Thai resaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is very good, and the portions are generous. Every time I go there, I leave with a smile and a happy tummy.
