My brother-in-law and his wife had been too busy to celebrate their recent wedding anniversary. I called Lori and asked her if she could make this luncheon dinner on Saturday, Oct 2, 2010 around 2pm memorable. She said yes. When my wife and I and my brother-in-law and his wife arrived, Lori led us to our table and provided us with service that was as smooth and efficient as you would find in a pricey restaurant while still tending to the other patrons. We enjoyed 3 of the John’s Sirloin Luncheon Steak dinners and my brother-in-law opted for the Chicken Breast Sandwich and a bowl of soup. Lori kept our glasses full and table cleared of dishes. With a clean table and the dinner bill expected, Lori presented my brother-in-law and his wife with a slice of very chocolaty cake, even wishing them a happy anniversary. They were pleasantly surprised. Robert Maxon’s goal of giving his customers great food, great service with a warm and friendly atmosphere has been met. I recommend “The New” John’s Steak and Seafood Restaurant, especially to the “over 40 crowd.”
