Stopped going to this restaurant for over a year because of a bad smell in the reception area. Went on Dec 17, 2010 and everything had changed! Clean, outstanding, friendly service, best sandwiches and homemade chips ever. Have loved Ham's for over 20 years and was sorry to see the original one on Friendly close - now this is my favorite...

Up until July 8, 2009, I had always enjoyed Ham's both for lunch and for dinner. However, on July 8, 2009 around 10:30PM and having eaten lunch at Ham's that day and the day before, I came down with a severe case of food poisoning that sent me to the hospital and resulted in continuing health issues. The hospital said Salmonella and my physician said E-Coli. I see from the last inspection in Oct., that they were graded based on some handling issues of chicken! Ham's insurance company has refused my claim and Chelda Inc hasn't even called me back! I'll never eat there again!

This is a great place for lunch with the gang at work or a night out with the family. I go here often because they have good food at good prices. On Tuesdays they have a Charles cheese burger special that is just insainely cheap for $2.99 which comes with a side and a drink! They also have two bar pool tables that you can just hang out a bit before heading back to the office. Their service has also been consistently good!
