On April 11 my girlfriend and I went to BBQ Joes for the first time around 6 PM. We had heard it was really good. We ordered the chopped sandwich and a large hushpuppy. We found a hair in the first batch of hushpuppies. I notified the waitress who took it back and got us another order. The waitress found hair in the second order. She then went back for a third order. I assume it was hair free but needless to say at that time I was ready to get out of there. The lady at the register did not even ask if our food was good. I am sure she was aware of the findings. And they still charged me. I guess I have been to BBQ Joes for the last time. I did not see their sanitaion rating but it needs to be adjusted. Guess I will stick with Carter Brothers.

It is true the prices are cheap. But you get what you pay for, you can tell the quality of the food is not very good. I have been twice and both times the food is just ok... If your looking for "Cheap" food then this your place. If you want to pay a dollar or two more there are 2 other BBQ restaurants down the street and several other restaurants around.

I have dined at BBQ Joe's many many times. We have also been to several events that Joe has catered. The BBQ with Joe's sauce is the best I have ever had. The meat is very moist and has great flavor. I'm not a potato salad eater, BUT I have to have BBQ Joe's potato salad every time. It is GREAT! Since Joe's opened we have been there every week. Keep up the good work! God Bless You. Linda D.

Went to BBQ Joe's because a friend said it was good as Carter Brothers BBQ. Sorry but it did not measure up to Carter Brothers. Menu is confusing and the heath grade is so high because they sent someone to a class where the heath department gives you 2 points for attending.
Good thing Carter Brothers is in Archdale now!!

Wow! This food was incredible! The food that you get for the price you pay is incredible. Raised in Davidson County, I know good BBQ & this was wonderful! Health grade was 100.5- that is impressive! It was nice seeing the owner out socializing with all customers. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!

The food was really good but the serve's has been on every visit been horrible, and unlast visit they charge me extra so i could share my meal with my child. I gave them multi visit and try's to see if it was just one bad visit but it wasnt all visit were bad and it was all center around the serve's.
