From the first time I set foot into my mother's small kitchen, it was the beginning of a long quest for passion and knowledge of food. I remember being fascinated by the smell and aromas that came from her kitchen.
Over the years I learned that the essence of good Indian cooking revolves around the appropriate use of the aromatic spices.
The skill lies in subtle blending of a variety of spices to enhance, rather than overwhelm, the basic flavor of a particular dish. Indian good relies on the balance of the spices in which it is cooked.
They say that "the proof of the pudding is in the eating", however, I think with today's changing tastes, we should say "the proof of the curry is in the eating". You will realize the true impact of this phrase when you experience the delights from my restaurant.
Not only is this an experience in taste, but also from the moment you walk in, to the time you leave, you will surrounded by the culture, environment, and ambience that Gateway To India offers. I invite all those who are looking for a dining experience like no other to come and visit my establishment.
I look forward to welcoming you in our family of Indian Heritage and to enjoy your experience and time spent with us!

The worst service, average sushi, very expensive and the most arrogant and rude manager I have ever come across EVER! I will never go back and if you read other reviews on this restaurant you will read the same.
wow what a suprise. Outstanding food and the waitress was so nice. Small mom and pop place with maybe just a dozen tables but the food and service was terrific.
We had dinner @ Floribean last night and if you want cheap drinks they got it but nothing else. But if you are hungry and want good quality food, find another place to eat. The servers were nice but they can't overcome
A small and delicious little place. Very nice people and the food is superb to say the least. Prices what they are on Main st. but over all there isn't anything to not like about Maemi. Overall it's a great place for
