Food is good. A little pricey. Kids menu is way to expensive for the food amount. The service is all about who you get. More of a trendy restaurant and they set their prices to that. There is way better food for a better deal elsewhere in Sarasota.

Over priced poor quality food and rude service sum up this restaurant. You'd think Dick Vitale would have better standards? We stay on Siesta Key 4-5 times a year. i have been to the Egg several times and have had consistently bad experiences. There are many better options on the key for sure, too bad the egg has lost its luster from years gone by when the original owners ran the place.

I have taken anywhere from two to twelve people here for breakfast throughout the last 5 years and have always enjoyed the food, service and prices. Their new location is far better. Everyone has always enjoyed our breakfasts at the Broken Egg. They even have some nice paintings available for sale along with the usual tourist grabber stuff. Will continue to return with friends and family. I recommend it to anyone!

Waited 10 minutes just to get a coffee ordered. THen the waitress ignored us and didn't take our b/fast order while all other patrons after us were getting served food. Had to flag down another waitress for a second cup of coffee. Chairs and tables stuffed to capacity, so you get bumped everytime server or patron walks by your chair. THen never got the check. Had to beg to pay for awful service and mediocre food. Corned beef hash for breakfast was out of a can ala Dinty Moore. Yuck!

The worst service, average sushi, very expensive and the most arrogant and rude manager I have ever come across EVER! I will never go back and if you read other reviews on this restaurant you will read the same.

wow what a suprise. Outstanding food and the waitress was so nice. Small mom and pop place with maybe just a dozen tables but the food and service was terrific.

We had dinner @ Floribean last night and if you want cheap drinks they got it but nothing else. But if you are hungry and want good quality food, find another place to eat. The servers were nice but they can't overcome

Amazing - amazing - amazing! FRESH margaritas and innovative martinis, the best queso blanco that I've ever had and incredible enchiladas... Gorgeous decor with a cool bar in an outdoor courtyard, beautiful live orchids
