It's certainly a must see when visiting Springfield. We always make it one of our priorities when attending The Mother Road Route 66 Festival in September every year. I remember the old Dairy Queen and Cozy Drive In back in the 50's plus I'm very proud to have my COZYDOG Tennesse vanity license plate displayed on the "wall of fame" along with all the other memorabilia. Thank you Sue - see you in September. Bob Alexander

Fun place just for the experience. I'm not a huge corn dog fan, but hey, when you're here you gotta try them! My kids enjoyed it, but again, are not huge corn dog fans. I really like the hamburgers though and french fries were good. The onion rings were nothing special. Kids loved that you could add your own cherry or vanilla sryup to your sodas, though did got a bit overboard. I'm sure they are not the first to do so. I love the memoriabilia and will definately visit again to look through more (this time without the kids who got impatient)

Was the rater from Chicago on something? We think this place is great! Food not at all like Chicago rater says. Great, great place to bring the kids! Interesting memorabilia and they are adding to it all the time. My first visits were as a kid in the 50's. Rediscovered it in the last 6 years and now am a regular. Great, well cooked breakfast in the morning,

I was eager to visit the Cozy Drive In after seeing it on the PBS Special "A Hot Dog Program"
What a disappointment. The Cozy Dog was the worst tasting thing I've eaten in a while. It tasted nothing like a Corn Dog. Either the hot dog itself or the batter had a strange overpowering taste, possibly cummin, that made it taste more like some Asian mystery meat that an American Classic. The french fries were fresh but soggy and cut from potatoes seemingly the size of pingpong balls, the onion rings typical commercial variety. The only unique thing was the serve yourself soda fountain that allowed to to add your own cherry or vanilla flavorings.
Overall a very mediocre experience and not worth a special trip.

Very friendly place to stop for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Homemade donuts & freshly ground coffee, homemade soup, chilli, fresh cut french fries, and fresh dipped "COZY DOGS"! Great place for friends to meet and eat!

This is a fun place, especially to take the kids and get a cozy dog. There are things to look at so this is more than just a food stop.
