Rogers Restaurant Guide

Had eaten here back in April and loved the food! The service was poor but they had only been open a short time. We were very pleased with our waitress and the food was great! Would definitely recommend it.

the service is 50/50 depending on who you get for the server I waited over an hour for a patty melt. If you go there ask the sever or servers if they have received a paycheck in 2,3, or 5 weeks...that might explain the badmouthing of the so called owner.

Horrible, horrible service. The best part of the meal was the Chicken Wild Rice soup. The rest of the meal was sub-par. The shrimp was cooked too long and the breading on the walleye was too thick. The food would have been bearable if it had not been for the horrible service. Our server was extremely unprofessional - complaining about the owner of the company and not knowing the menu at all. Every time we asked a question she had to go into the kitchen to ask someone. We tried being patient and giving everyone the benefit of the doubt, but we arrived for dinner at 8:30 and didn't get our drinks until well after 9:00. It took over two hours for our meal. We were told the manager was going to comp our drinks because they took so long (we didn't even comment on how long they took) and when the bill came, there was a charage for our drinks. When we asked the server about it, she couldn't explain why. She went back to fix it twince before coming back to tell us the computer just adds money to the bill sometimes, so that's why it was not adding up correctly. The manager then came over and told us that the server told him that she never said he offered to take care of our drinks. So, at the end of the night, after being accused of being lairs, we left highly dissastisfied and quite offended. The people sitting next to us left without paying their bill. They complained about their food and the service, and then took off very upset. Although it is never okay to walk out on a bill, halfway through our experience we could understand how they must have felt. Although I could forgive the inexperienced, young server, there is no excuse for her manager who blamed her and didn't offer up and apology until I mentioned to him that throughout this whole ordeal, nobody had apologized that our dining experience was so awful.

The restaurant has not been reopened long and our waitress was inexperienced. Despite the bad wait experience I would give it a try - the steak was amazing!

A nice change from what it was. We thought it was miles ahead where we left it.
