Shakopee Restaurant Guide

This is our favorite Sunday brunch in the Twin Cities area. We live in Stillwater - and we think it is even better than the brunch at Lake Elmo Inn. The variety of food is amazing. Staff are always very friendly. The entrance in and out of the buffet area is a little awkward - but we don't find that a problem. The person who only gave it a one-star rating in July is way off base as far as we're concerned.

For such a lovely dining experience I have to tell you your women;'s restroom is BAD! It needs updating and expanding NOW. I've been to worse restaraunts with a lot better and nicer looking bathrooms. Otherwise, my dining experience all the way around was wonderful.

Obviously this restaurant is having problems, NOT a "fine dining" experience at Brunch on 7/30/06. The ham was tasty, but what can you do to change ham? The rest of the items were either not appealing (presentation), lacked tastiness/flavor, or, as with the biocuits - hard as rocks. Items not replenished as they should have been. Due to "distance", everyone entered and exited the brunch area the same way - so it was awkward and crowded. We will not try it again.

Excellent restaurant with first class Sunday brunch buffet. Your water and drink glasses are never empty, very classy restaurant with cloth napkins, and outstanding service. Food tastes fresh and flavorful. Quite a variety too! Wonderful!

Wow! If you could only eat at one restaurant in the Twin Cities, this is it! Great variety of food, and outstanding service. The Sunday brunch buffet is exceptional! 5 Stars in my book.
