I did not know Elmer's Glue was an ingredient in Chicken Riggies. Never again.

Can't rate their service or cleanliness, but their take out service is very good. Being a nearby business that orders from them on a regular basis. I find that their chicken riggies, rate a 5*. Excellent taste, not too hot. Very much like my grandma's! Hats off to the Chef!

Foos was close to inedible. Bread and butter and a wilted salad were perfered to main course of the special "southwest chicken". That should have been my first clue in this miserable excuse for Italian food. Sadly dissapointed.

My wife and I decided to try this place after reading the numerous 5 star reviews. All I can say is the owner must be writing them. We thought we knew all of syracuses "best kept secrets" (Riley's, Webers, Eva's ect.) and couldn't resist trying Alfonso's. It was a very awkward setting, the food was bland at best and the wait staff was kind but forgetful and far from professional. So sorry but we will never return or recomend.

I took a chance on this little restaurant located just outside of Eastwood. Being new to the Syracuse area I have been delighted by a few smaller out of the way places and thought I may discover a gem in the rough. NOT SO. What an outrageous disapointment. Watery sauce, overcooked pasta and a botched appetizer ruined any chance of a decent meal. Thinking bruchetta sounded good, offered 3 different ways we ordered the roasted red pepper and black olive variety. We got diced under ripe tomatoes with red onion on italian toast with barely melted part skim mozz. cheese. The meal seemed more prepared out out of cost cutting measures than true italian moxie. What a sad place.

The food and staff are among the best I've experienced in a very long time if not ever. You can't ask for a better meal. There are not alot of places where you have the owners greeting and waiting on customers.I would highly recomend to anyone who wants a great meal and excellent service!!!!!

We took 70 customers and vendors out for a great dinner last night at Alfonso's. The food and service was EXCELLENT! Alfonso's is a great place for a party or intimate dinner for two. FSI INC

Excellent Chicken Franchaise, as good as the top rated Italian restaurants locally. The greens were also very good, as is their red sauce. My father in law eats there regularly, loves the Pasta Fagioli, and the prices are lower than what you'd pay elsewhere for similar quality. Best kept secret in Syracuse.
