I go to the Fowler House almost every Sunday (it is a ritual after we see my grandmother at the nursing home). The food is very good, with a variety of specials each night. The atmosphere is casual. Somethimes the service is slow, but I recommend it.

This was one of the worst dining experiences I ever had. It started off innocently enough when we had to wait 10+ minutes before the waitress even came over to the table, then she forgot the lemon I ordered with my drink. She even asked if she forgot it, and after I said yes she still didn't get it....

The Tavern is a fantastic place, with one of the most magnificent views of the Boston skyline available -- if you're lucky enough to be seated by a window... or in the main room even.
