Not only awful, but WAY overpriced to boot. If I could give this restaurant a zero stars, I would.

Let me start by saying that this is the first negative review I've ever written about a restaurant, and we east out a few times a week.

To start, while our waiter was very nice and accommodating (the one positive of the evening), there was a huge language barrier and he was unable to understand/answer some of our questions about the menu.

My crab cake appetizer was just OK, while the crab cocktail appetizer my boyfriend ordered was much better.

For our side (a la carte), I asked if the chef could prepare sauteed spinach, as opposed to the creamed spinach on the menu. I was told he could not, as it was prepared ahead of time. This seemed odd until I tasted it - the overly mushy texture made it clear it had been sitting around for a while. We left this uneaten.

I ordered the lamb chop for my entree. Let me just say that I eat a lot of lamb, and this was -- hands down -- the absolute worst lamb I have ever had both in quality of cut and flavor. It came in three mangled pieces, each so tough and loaded with both fat and bone, I literally could not find more than one bite of meat to eat. The one bite I did taste was completely bland. I promptly sent it back and our waiter suggested I order the fillet instead.

The medium rare fillet took so long to arrive, that my boyfriend was done with his meal by the time it arrived (I told him to go ahead and eat so his meal didn't get cold). This kind of defeats the purpose of dining together. Side note: he qualified his sirloin as "mediocre at best."

Not wanting to eat solo, I had my fillet wrapped to go. The manager made no apologies and we were given our bill in full, which totaled an astonishing $245 pre-tip for two people (this included two drinks each)

Obviously, I would never return to this establishment. There are far too many other high quality Westchester restaurants that blow this place away in both price and food quality. Save your money.
