A friend had been raving about the crab cakes for a while and my husband couldn't wait to try them. Originally, we dined at Timbuktu in November. On our first visit my husband had the crab cakes and I had the stuffed shrimp. While I enjoyed the stuffed shrimp my husband could not get enough of the crab cakes. We've been back several times since November.
Once they came into the area, we have NEVER ordered from anywhere else. The food is awesome and the veggies the freshest we've EVER tasted. OUR favorite for at least the last 5 years!
This restaurant served us the absolute WORST dining experience I've ever had! There was a 2 hour wait before we were served.
The food was beyond unacceptable when it finally arrived. My friends and I were truly disappointed as this was our firs

I would have to say that I was very displeased with my experience at Courtside. I attended a going away dinner for my friend and it was quite the disaster. After about 2 hours, overdone wings, burnt burgers and frozen in the middle mozzarella sticks,

My son and I dined at the restaurant. The restaurant has so many televisions and my son loves to watch the pro soccer games they have on. We both had Steaks for dinner which were excellent. We like the onion rings that are the restaurants specialt

Staff was slow, food was ok, not worth the price. They should come down $1 - $2 on everything on their menu. Bar is not stocked well, I have gone to places way smaller, less decorated and had a much better dining/drinking experience.

My wife and I are from NJ we frequently come to Balt, and wanted to try this restaurant, on another bartenders recommendation. Any how, we found the bartenders very rude and inattentive they dressed more like they should be in a sports bar, not a fine dinning restaurant. We had to wait almost 15 minutes before they even took our drink order, and getting a second drink was difficult. We enjoyed our wings but the service so poor we left. we won't be back again.

High prices, horrible food. The waiting area smelled like urine. The mashed potatoes were reconstituted (fake) despite top-shelf proces (mostly $30-plus). Got food poisoning from eating bad salmon, still sick after five days. Avoid this place like the plague.

After hearing about Timbuktu's crabcakes for more than two years, I knew I had to experience them for myself and needless to say, they more than exceeded my expectations, both times. The food is excellent and at very reasonable prices. The waiters/waitresses demonstrate great customer service as well. I was, however, thrown off by the look and feel of the place. The old website gave me the impression that it would be a classy restaurant, suggesting that customers make reservations and even stating a dress code. We quickly found out that we could have worn sweats and sneakers and fit right in, that was disappointing. It just seems the name "Old Anchor Inn" would be more suitable, then you wouldn't have such high expectations. I guess you don't always have to dress up to have a good seafood meal. All in all, I will definitely visit them again!
