Southern food restaurant in the Brookstown Inn (Lower Level)

I first visited this restaurant a couple of weeks ago during the "Big Eat" for downtown restaurants. Our first visit was incredible and my wife and I were stunned with the quality of the food and service! We have made this place our favorite date night spot and it gets better everytime we go back. The waiters know us by name, the owner always comes over to speak with us and make sure everything is good and the menu has so many good things on it, that it takes time to decide what to eat. My favorite is the Shrimp and Grits and I can tell you that it is the best that I have ever had anywhere. My wife loves the BBQ Tuna and we end up eating half of each others meals. This is a top drawer restaurant with pricing that allows us to go every week. It is affordable and we have yet to be able to finish a meal due to large servings, and the fact that we always order the fried chicken liver (with bacon and sauteed onions) appetizer. This restaurant is our favorite and if you have not been there, you are in for a big time treat when you go.
