I was excited to visit Ruths Chris Steak House on my birthday in February. This was a Tuesday evening and the service was outstanding, the food excellent, and the overall experience was quality. I had visited Ruths Chris in San Diego and in Richmond. I have never been disappointed. Thank you to all for a lovely evening.

I have visited all of the Dallas steak house standby choices, and my visit to Ruth's Chris was the worst I have ever experienced. Let me start with one recommendation: never visit this restaurant on a Friday or Saturday night. My wife and I arrived for an 8pm reservation and were asked to wait 20-25 minutes in the bar. We were told that the seating was backed up. We ordered a drink and waited patiently to be seated. At 5 until 9pm, we were still seated in the bar waiting for our table. Hungry and losing our patience, we decided to leave. On the way out, one hour after our reservation and still hungry, I mentioned our situation to the valet person. He replied, "Yeah I don't know why they do that. The always over book." With out tasting the food, my review is limited to the service, but I can confidently say that Ruth's Chris has the worst service of any of the top tier steak restaurants in our city, and it was likely the worst experience I have ever had at a "top-tier" restaurant.
The staff was attentive and helpful. Although we were a bit under dressed they made us feel welcome and comfortable. The wine selection was superb and the food was outstanding. We will definately be back and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to

Best restaurant in Dallas. The food is always fresh. The staff are friendly and always explain everything that is in a roll. That alone deserves five stars.
I know this is only one review but I hope others will read this... The manager Karlo is a dismissive jerk. We were having a wonderful time the food was great! Until half way through the meal a waiter spilled red wine all over me. Mistakes happen,
