Excellent food and draft beer selection, a true neighborhood bar feel with great staff. Surrounded by TVs for every major event, but especially like the huge screen in the back room.

This is a great all vegeterian, mexican restaurant on the historic and rich east side of Austin. The food is served cafeteria style with generous portions. It is attached to a health food store and there are also interesting desserts. Unique Austin!

Okay, so far I've eaten at 2 Mexican restaurants prior to this one and one was classified as retirement home food. One had a great view and the food served it's purpose but the best I've had in Austin to this date is Ninfa's on 6th Street. Colorful interior, extensive menu and it is packed filled ...
My boyfriend and I had dinner there on a relatively busy Thursday evening and overall our experience was jaded because of the server. Our server, when asked about the seasoning on your chicken and how many ounces was the filet and porterhouse, she had no idea. I guess that upset her maybe as if we...
Food is pricey but has great presentation, it comes out looking like artwork. It's a bit heavy on the intake, however, pleasing to the taste buds.Oh..if you don't like food that looks like it just died on your plate, stay away from the stuffed quail appetizer. It lookes like a naked basted amputee.
The Old Pecan Street Cafe is fabulous. The food is top notch being the traditional old fashion american cuisine with some added features, and the atmosphere is like something out of a good ole fashion movie. The building itself is a historical site with an official marker on the front of the buildin...
This was truly an entertaining dining experience. My Sweetie and I waited about 15 minutes to be seated in a nearly empty dining room. We ordered the bottomless soup and salad...and it was a bottomless pit of iceberg lettuce, mushy tomatoes, and vinegary dressing. You know how the commercial makes...

This place looks like a dump but the food is great American Chinese, the shrimp is really fresh, the vegetables are fresh, it's an amazing value. Nothing old and stale, the wonton soup is especially nice, full of fresh veg, not too salty, a hint of ginger.
OUTSTANDING EVERYTIME!! VERY CONSISTENT. I EAT THERE AT LEAST ONCE PER MONTH AND HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD EXPERIENCE. GREAT PRICES, GREAT PORTIONS, EXCELLENT MENU!

Great Girls' Night Happy Hour! My girlfriends and I dropped into Paggi House last week for their happy hour. (New owners & recent remodel.) Comfy patio seating with a great view and nice wine. We liked it so much we came back for more this week. The staff was attentive and helpful. The cheese plate ...
Chinese Food Lovers unite, or just Asian people unite. The place was pretty empty when we arrived, however by the end of the evening we noticed that the place had become pretty packed and caucasians were clearly the minority. We should have known something was up when we were handed two menus. One t...
We chose this restaurant for a very special dinner... meeting our daughter's future mother-in-law right before her wedding. We were quickly seated and then quickly moved to a quieter location when staff were told of the importance of conversation to this dinner. Service was excellent. Food orders we...
I never liked fajitas before i came to eat here. Their fajitas are the best! The chicken was perfect and the tortillas were fresh and so was the chips. The salsa was perfect also. The fajitas came with beans, rice, great guacamole, cheese, sour cream, and pico de gallo. If you run out of tortillas a...
Overpriced moderately good Mexican food. Pappasitos gets credit for a reletively innovative menu - however when one considers the many wonderful Mexican restaurants in the Austin area, the quality of food, service and overall dining experience pales in comparison. Service is HORRIBLE (on more than o...
I used to travel to Houston for business quite frequently. Pappa's Cantina was always a part of my Houston experience. I live in WV and would love to get the franchise into this area.
Had a enjoyable time here and service was topnotch.

The best Pho I've had anywhere, served with Thai basil, bean sprouts, etc. The egg rolls are excellent too. The iced tea is a bit watery, not much more than colored water. The vermicelli is equal to the best I've had elsewhere.

The ONLY place to eat pho in Austin. The largest variety of ingredients and all the trimmings on the side allow you to adjust your pho to suit your taste. Incredible non-pho menu items as well, many served in a flaming fondu style pot or a sizzling hot plate. Don't miss the shrimp spring rolls, and d...

the pho broth has excellent flavor. great value prices for all their dishes. food comes out very fast. there's a mounted flat screen TV plays sports Vietnamese dance performances or singers that is distracting and annoying to me but others may like it. modern tasteful decor.
